How to be able to talk with someone about their error on my credit score?

I recently purchased a Town House, was told I had above average Credit Score..Equifax still has my old address, which was a rental...can't seem to change my address with them after several tries..Can't understand their explanation as to why I can't participate in Bill Me Later purchase. I could pay for the entire purchase, but in the last week my Dog needed surgery, expensive, I thought I would keep monies liquid incase I had to pay for emergency care immediately...Why can't I speak to a live person these days? Everything seems automated these days, dangerous with info on internet...and great frustrations...Thank you!
