I have PTSD and my mother is controlling my life, monies, everything? This is my next plan?

If you managed to convince the shrink you were incapable of taking care of yourself, of being a responsible member of society b/c of what happened to you and your inability to handle it, hence the diagnosis and the SSI. Then it becomes society's duty to take care of you. Should that no longer be the case, then your situation will be reviewed and financial support stopped. That sounds like what you really are after, anyway. So good luck.
