Magazine for 6 year old girl?

her schoolmates sent out QSP Family reading program materials, asking parents to buy magazine subscriptions to raise monies for the local elementary school...what does a 6year old girl in the MidWest, who attends public school, like to read?...parents suggested "American Girl"...magazine at first, but I don't think she would be happy with that choice...(limited income family) Any fun suggestions?
