False Police Report??? What do you do??? An Ex Friend of mine filed a false police report on me.?

He filed it for credit card fraud. He allowed me to use his credit card to pay a couple of vendors, and I got a statement from him that was notarized stating that I had his permission to use the card, and so a couple weeks later I broke up with him and he got angry and went to the police and filed a report stating that I took his credit card and used it without his permission and showed the credit card statement with the charges and they issued a warrant for me, and when I find out I spoke with him and convinced him to drop charges and he did, then later I receive notices from the vendors that the payments that were made to them by the card were charge back to the bank because he must have done a claim with them to receive the monies back. Now I am furious about all of this and would like to know whats the neccessary steps to take to handle this situation. I also have him on audio stating that he lied and filed the report because he was losing me. I am selling a 98 Honda Civic, and I met with somebody to look at the car. They liked everything about it and decided to give me $150 to hold it until after the weekend when they would come pay the rest and transfer the title. They contacted me the next day, said they had a change in "financial plans" and would not be buying the car and included an address to return the money to. Within that time period I turned away close to 20 people who inquired about the car because according to the buyers who put down the deposit it was already theirs. My questions is I get to keep the $150 cash deposit correct? It is my understanding that the deposit is considered "good faith" money and thus subtracted from the overall price of the car when they buyers come to finalize the deal. If they don't come to finalize the deal, I keep the monies because of loss of business correct? Also, there was no contract or anything of that nature. Thanks

Extreme Couponing at Food Town, Is this coupon fraud? Coupons at Food Town?

I've recently started couponing and very recently started couponing at Food Town. What I saw at several stores around the Houston/Sugar Land area really disturbed me. I wanted to know if what I saw is coupon fraud. At one location a cashier was pulling 55� peelie coupons off of products of Shout so he could send them in to the manafacture letting the store be reimbursed without any customer having redeemed them. At three other Food Towns I spied them manually entering in taxable coupons as non taxable/food coupons so an item would be doubled taxed. Here in Texas as well as a few other states by law the manafacture must pay the tax for the consumer. It's keyed into the coupons. So Food Town is letting their customer pay taxes on something that has already been paid for by the manafacture. New extreme couponers probably wouldn't have even noticed. Anyway, is this coupon fraud?

How do hedge funds employ non-registered or not licensed people to raise money for the funds?

I have friends that call themselves employees or external promoters or other names along those lines that get paid or bonuses or compensated based on bringing in new investors to a hedge fund. I am pretty sure they only go after their personal sphere of influence and who those people make personal introductions to them and they are all always accredited investors but I do know that they all work for different hedge funds, none of them have any registration or licenses have never worked at traditional investment places. They just solely jumped in to this arena based on great payouts for any monies they bring in to the hedge funds they work for. In doing some research this seems illegal to me. I am going to assume I am wrong here as this sounds like it is very common and the way a lot of hedge funds raise money. How is it possible? what is it that I am missing that allows them to have the ability to do this and get paid for it without having to be investment advisors or something like that. I know hedge funds are outside the SEC hence why you must go with accredited investors, but I am still just unclear on how this works and why it does. I am almost 16 and I have been smoking on and off since I was like 12. And i've been smoking consistently for around half a year now. And lately I've noticed some discomfort in my throat. How do you live a normal suburban, 9 to 5, average joe or jane lifestyle, doing the same job for many decades?

That's the kind of life my parents currently live. I am currently a college student who just completed my freshman year at college, with my current majors being Political Science and English. The reason I ask this question is because I am having a difficult time coming to terms with a normal, repetitive lifestyle, I really don't want to spend the next forty to fifty years of my life working at some corporation, law firm or school. My nightmare is living in a modest 3 bedroom house in the sub burbs of some random city like little rock or des monies with 2.5 kids, a family dog, a minivan and waking up everyday to go to work for some jerk who wants to throw seminars on synergy and time management. Granted all that is better than working for $7.50 an hour at some fast food restaurant. All I know is my parents are miserable, my neighbors are miserable, the women standing on the sidelines at soccer games are miserable, the intoxicated guys at the lake house down the road from me every night are miserable, and this is the types of people I have lived around my entire life. Really I have come to the realization that life is being born, going to public school and being accepted until 8th grade upon which you either are liked or revered for the next 6 years before attending college to receive a degree in something that even if you like the subject, is signing a proverbial contract specifying what task you will perform for the next 50 years before you retire, and wait to die, and that's it, which leads me to wonder why I exist, and for that matter why do any of us actually exist. And since college ended for me 2 weeks ago and I left my friends and returned home for the summer this is all I have been thinking about. I try to distract my self by writing the code for a website I decided to build. Any advice as to how I can be okay with all this would be helpful. Everyday it's something different, but yet it's all the same. Carcinophobia's really got me?

Ever since I read an article on brain tumors and was convinced my headaches were coming from one, I've been in a lot of anxiety regarding cancer. This has happened before, but it's been a little while, and there were several months where I wasn't worried about it at all. Never even occurred to me. Now I'm worrying myself half to death with this. My new fear is cancer of the small intestine. Asinine, right? I know, but I can't shake it. I've been having a lot of abdominal aches and cramps since Friday, but especially today. They're sort of everywhere - upper left just below my ribs, upper right in the same place, lower right, lower left, sometimes central. I don't think I've had pain this consistently before, so it's scaring me a bit. Also, before today I did have nausea when I ate. It seems to have subsided a bit. My bowel movements are sometimes weird - usually I go once a day, but there are days when I go 5 times! I don't notice blood, no black/tarry stools, and I don't think there's mucus or pus, but I am going more often. Sometimes one bowel movement after another! I don't think my IBS has ever caused this before, and the pain I'd always have with IBS was lower central abdominal and sometimes upper left and right, but never in all those other places. I've also been getting backaches and joint and muscle pain. The pain, again, usually begins after I eat, and is dull and collicky. I've been pretty tired too, though I can still exercise well somehow. No weight loss, and my appetite is still good. I know that's a lot of info, so I guess my question is, does this check out with small bowel cancer? If not, what would be expected if I did have it?

Reducing swelling after wisdom teeth extraction?

I had four wisdom teeth removed about 55 hours ago (Thursday morning). It seemed that my swelling was worse yesterday and has decreased a bit today, but I'm having some mixed messages on what I can do to continue the reduction of swelling. I've been taking two tablets of Dexamethasone for swelling (one in the morning and one at night) and one Hydrocodone about every 6 hours for pain. These were both given to me by my oral surgeon. I'm also taking some natural distress drops. The pain really isn't bothering me but I was wondering how to reduce the swelling some more. I pretty consistently used ice for the first 40 hours while awake and now some research on my own is telling me to use moist heat, and I'm hearing from other people that heat only made the swelling worse or did nothing at all. Should I be rinsing with salt water? Or taking some ibuprofen? Thanks!

I received a phone call from a lady named Dallas from America West Notification Dept today. She said that last year a family member had filled out a form and we were chosen and won a cruise for 2 on Royal Carribean or Carnival Cruise line of our choice. She also said all airfair was paid for to Miami or Port Canaveral from an airport nearest our home for a 3 night 4 day cruise to Napa and the Bahamas. Fluctuating Blood Pressure Hypertension?

I have recently recovered from an illness which I was treat for (UTI) during this illness my BP was 180/110 and even since has been consistently been around 150/100 or 160/110 I am getting blood works and ECG next week. Today at home I have noted changes between 120-160 systolic and 85-110 diastolic. The Dr is going to start me on BP meds after blood tests and I also have a cholesterol of 7.2 from medication I am on. I have never had hypertension before. I have been having a lot of headaches and back pain too. I am already on 80mg x twice daily of propanalol for anxiety. However I can honestly say there has been no anxiety issues when taking BP ( I know my body well ). Is this fluctuation normal, is it cardio related or possibly renal related following infection. Alcoholic, mentally & emotionally abusive father/ husband has made life a living nightmare for 17 years.... ?

Everyday it's something different, but yet it's all the same. Always having to worry, always having intense anxiety, depression, fear, and anger that life has to always be this way, that it's impossible to see it ever getting better. I'm 17, and my father has just consistently, constantly gotten worse. He's meaner, more violent, extremely hateful, and ive honestly been convinced that he is the devil living on earth. If I say I have a sore throat or something, he'll only care about himself, and say, yeah, I've had a scratchy throat all day, and go on and on and on. I think what the problem is here is that your body has become accustom to running. Cardio training is different for different things. In the opposite to your situation, I know a guy who was a wrestler, that couldn't run for very long at all, but in the mat he was a machine and could wrestle for hours (no exaggeration). You need to get back into sparring, because it makes your body work differently than running. Interval training would be good. Workouts exercising "fight muscle" is also good, as well as just getting out there and sparring more often. It should fall into place pretty easily and your skill level being as high as it is, you should pick back up to where you were in no time.

We are connected to a Windows 2005 or 2008 server. My problem: for about the past 2 weeks, I have been receiving 'critical' errors in the error logs about Kernel-Power, event ID 41. Says sleep transition not successful. However, what I am seeing as the end user is: Outlook is the first to lose connection with the network. Then, because Outlook is trying to connect to the server, it begins to interrupt other programs. Typically, the internet is the next to lock up, then other programs follow. The only thing to do is hard boot the computer. I start in Safe Mode, then restart into Normal Mode. This has happened consistently each day of the working week for two weeks now. My computer is from July 2008 and from then to June 2011, the computer has logged only 9 critical events - all within the last two weeks. Any suggestions or insights would be extremely helpful. The company's IT person has replaced my network cable and battery in the computer. Her next step is replacing the NIC card, but I am not sure that will make a difference.

Bond Issue Melbourne, Australia. Can we get our money back, what can we do?

My partner and I have been renting a room off a girl in Melbourne - whilst living with her. We paid her a $1300 bond and when we left (Friday 8th April) after having to go home due to my father getting ill in the UK, she supposedly sent us our bond and an email receipt of this transactio with 'bond' docmented. However, we still have yet to receive the monies of $1395, which included her buying our bed and fan and lamp also. We have spoken to the bank and they have assured us that no money was sent from her account to our account as this email receipt was sent before she pressed confirm. We have sent her many emails and we have had one reply on Friday afternoon saying sorry and she would sort this. Although after phoning her today she is now saying that the money has left her account and that she will need to wait for it to be returned, which is not what we have been told via email from the bank. We have also just found out that the people who lived there 3 months before us have also not received there bond either and she sent them the same false confirmation email. I need to know where we stand, can we take her to court? We had no contract and no receipt for payment of bond but we don have emails documenting that she knows that she owes this money for the bond.

Now I have more money than I did, I pay cash (debit card) for what I want. I do not spend more that what I budgeted for, $50 a month for clothes, $250 for food. If I do not use all of it, it rolls into the next month. My wife and I make around $48,000 a year, but live on less, so we can "play" when we retire early.

If an employer deposits hsa's into the wrong account, who is responsible?

I have a friend who just found out that HSA monies deposited into her account were hers and also another employees. She didn't pay attention to her bank account that much so she didn't know. Another fellow employee went to get money out of his HSA and that's how it was found out when one bank went to another (Farmers to Nextier or visa versa), this fellow's monies were going into her account. Other than the fact that yes she should have been watching her account more closely, the person in charge of benefits very curtly told her that she would be responsible for replacing the funds (in no uncertain terms)! About 2 years ago, I was asked to provide some monetary support to a family business.?

Four of them work at the center and two, including myself are not part of the day to day operations. In addition, these same two have been approached to promote fights in the city's event center. Should these two be able to enter into something like this without any consideration for the company or the other partners? That's the kind of life my parents currently live. I am currently a college student who just completed my freshman year at college, with my current majors being Political Science and English. The reason I ask this question is because I am having a difficult time coming to terms with a normal, repetitive lifestyle, I really don't want to spend the next forty to fifty years of my life working at some corporation, law firm or school. My nightmare is living in a modest 3 bedroom house in the sub burbs of some random city like little rock or des monies with 2.5 kids, a family dog, a minivan and waking up everyday to go to work for some jerk who wants to throw seminars on synergy and time management. Granted all that is better than working for $7.50 an hour at some fast food restaurant. All I know is my parents are miserable, my neighbors are miserable, the women standing on the sidelines at soccer games are miserable, the intoxicated guys at the lake house down the road from me every night are miserable, and this is the types of people I have lived around my entire life. Really I have come to the realization that life is being born, going to public school and being accepted until 8th grade upon which you either are liked or revered for the next 6 years before attending college to receive a degree in something that even if you like the subject, is signing a proverbial contract specifying what task you will perform for the next 50 years before you retire, and wait to die, and that's it, which leads me to wonder why I exist, and for that matter why do any of us actually exist.
